  • Do you offer daily rental?
Yes, daily rentals are available, but it's best to call at least one week ahead to see what's available.
  • What condition are your boats in?
Marathon Boat Rental is the best value because we use long-life commercial boats that are designed to operate forever. Our whaler fleet is "well-used" and shows some signs of a good time, but rest assured they are as sea-worthy as our competitions' boats. Signs of wear and tear are common, but for customers who don't need a brand new boat that costs 3x as much, then we are the right fit for you.
  • Payment Types Accepted
Pay your way! We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and cash for your fishing adventure. Score 3% off with cash, but please note we don't accept personal checks.
  • Do you Provide Instructions?
Ready to chart your course? We'll explain boat controls & highlight top spots on the map in our 30-minute briefing - ensuring a fun & safe day on the water!
  • What is your Cancellation Policy?
Full-refunds with 7-Days notice before rental. Last-minute changes (within 7-Days) are non-refundable. Refunds issued for official Coast Guard warnings impacting our area. Heavy rain or reef access issues not covered. Full refunds also provided for mechanical issues rendering the vessel inoperable with no replacement available.
  • Requirements for Rentals
We require individuals renting a boat to possess prior boating expertise, be a minimum of 21 years old, and successfully finish the Florida Boating Safety course available at www.boatus.org/florida/. This qualification is essential. If these criteria are not met, we are delighted to organize a guided tour with one of our experienced captains.

You bear full responsibility for any damage incurred by the boat throughout the rental period.
  • Responsibility for Cleaning the Boat?

If fishing is on your agenda, maintain cleanliness throughout the day. Please be aware that a $100 cleaning fee applies to boats necessitating extensive cleaning by our crew upon return.
  • What We Provide
We supply all necessary USCG safety equipment, such as life jackets, fire extinguishers, flares, a whistle, and a throwable flotation device, among others. Parents are accountable for providing life jackets for all children under the age of 6.
  • What to Bring
Feel free to bring your preferred snacks and beverages for your day on the water. Additionally, remember to bring towels, swimwear, polarized sunglasses, water shoes, hats or visors, and sunscreen for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
  • What NOT to Bring
It is imperative that you refrain from bringing any illegal substances on the boats, including drugs/medications and firearms. If you choose to consume alcohol, please do so responsibly. The boat operator is prohibited from consuming alcohol immediately before or during the rental period. Additionally, kindly avoid bringing any towable water toys such as skis, wakeboards, kneeboards, or tubes, as towing is not permitted from the boat.
  • What About Pets?
We gladly welcome pets aboard! If you plan to bring your dog, it's advisable to bring a suitable canine flotation device. Dogs can tire easily while swimming or may accidentally fall/jump overboard, so ensuring their safety with a flotation device is highly recommended.
